Marlborough Road

Project scope
Supply & installation of new timber doors.
Project consist of:

Located on Marlborough Road in Richmond, just moments from Richmond Hill and Richmond Park, this charming property presented a common challenge: deteriorating door with a rotten frame and difficult-to-operate leave that no longer opened fully. Positioned between the front car park and rear garden, the doors endured constant exposure to weather and direct sunlight, requiring a robust, long-lasting solution.
We supplied and installed bespoke timber French doors crafted entirely from Accoya – a high-performance modified wood renowned for its exceptional durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions. The design features a cill-free threshold for seamless, unobstructed passage throughout the property, perfect for wheeled equipment. The doors incorporate a practical configuration with a wider master leaf for everyday use and a narrower slave leaf that opens when additional width is needed. The minimalist flat design with grooves delivers clean, yet sophisticated lines while maintaining excellent weather performance, transforming both the functionality and aesthetic of this desirable Richmond home.
