Situated in one of London’s most prestigious garden squares, this Chelsea residence highlights our bespoke timber craftsmanship. We supplied and installed traditional cords & weights sash windows, elegant French doors, and bi-folding doors that create a seamless transition between the interior and garden. Each element was tailored to complement the property’s refined architectural character. In keeping with the original design, we expertly replaced the existing curved French doors and sash windows – showcasing our ability to deliver complex, made-to-measure joinery while preserving the building’s distinctive charm.
Key specifications
- Timber: Knot- free engineered Redwood with a hardwood Sapele cill for enhanced durability and a refined finish.
- Design: The windows feature external horns and 20mm Ovolo applied glazing bars with infill, replicating the look of traditional construction bars.
- Glazing: Double-glazed, Argon-filled Low E safety glass units providing excellent insulation while maintaining high light transmittance.
- Paint: Finished in a durable three-coat system, painted to RAL9010, ensuring long-term protection and visual consistency.
- Ironmongery: Mighton Antique Brass fittings, including Angel Ventlock restrictors, ensure smooth functionality and enhanced safety.
