This freshly renovated, cozy apartment in Camden Town – nestled on the elegant Chalcot Road in the heart of Primrose Hill – has been equipped with new bespoke windows to complete its updated look. Migom Design was involved throughout the entire process: from designing the windows in coordination with the architect and project management team, to manufacturing and installing them with precision.

Key specifications
- Timber: Knot-free engineered Redwood paired with a hardwood Sapele cill for enhanced durability and a refined finish.
- Design: Windows feature external horns and 20mm Ovolo-profile applied glazing bars with infill, replicating the look of traditional true bars and preserving the property’s period character.
- Mechanism: Front-facing sash windows use a traditional cords & weights system, while the others are fitted with spring balances – providing a discreet, cost-conscious solution with smooth operation.
- Glazing: Double-glazed, Argon-filled Low-E safety glass units provide excellent insulation while preserving natural light levels.
- Paint: Finished in a durable three-coat RAL9010 paint system, ensuring long-term protection and consistent visual appeal.
- Ironmongery: Fitted with Mighton Antique Brass hardware, including Angel Ventlock restrictors, for smooth function and added safety.
- Additional Features: Custom timber architraves create a seamless transition between the new windows and interior walls – enhancing the overall architectural finish.
